Its been a while..

The return of Polarpher!!

Hey folks, how are you all doing?
It's been quite a while since my last post, due to exams and assignments. Had 2 of my very tough essays regarding music in popular culture handed, so for now its a little more relaxing. The past 2 weeks has been ****, not kidding here. On the bright side, at least I'm coping well to the academic lifestyle after about 1 and a half years working. This blog is getting sad and sadder lol.. and I think there's definitely a need to post more pictures. But I haven't been looking after myself well these days, so not so good looking anymore, that is why I didn't bother taking too many pictures, at least not pictures of myself.

Life in Dunedin is boring, I had prepared myself emotionally before coming to NZ but apparently it is worse than I expected. The only entertainment around for these people is pretty much drinking.. Something which I've been doing way too much back home. For some reason drinking doesn't excite me anymore, and clubs here are far away from being happening.. from all aspect that is... sound systems especially.... no dance floor... just..not happening.

One thing that I'm really not used to is that I don't have that many friends around. Back home, I have friends pretty much everywhere, from Kota Kemuning to Subang, Sunway, Damansara, KL, Bangsar, Sri Hartamas, Sri Petaling, Bukit Jalil...... EVERYWHERE!! Not to mention I have my good old brothers back home, 8-9 years of friendship is impossible to be replaced.

Not having shisha around me is torturing... I had this thought of shipping my shisha bottle over to at least have something to relax myself a little but apparently its against customs' regulation and it is really hard to bring something like that into the country. .....

There is a 3 weeks holiday in June, after all examinations ended. Had a plan of going Australia but it was too costly, so decided to head up north to Auckland for a week's holiday instead. We'll see how it goes.. I need to get out of this town!!
