I'm totally exhausted, like really tired at this stage. Been staying in this backpacker's place for 3 nights already for now. It'll be my last night here, finally I can move to a fixed place where I don't need to pack and unpack like a thousand times a week. The bright side of staying though, is that I get to meet many different people from different countries. They usually stay over for only a night, but as you know the talkative me rite, I just can't stop myself from talking alot. So over some chat sessions I get to know alot about their countries and stuffs, and it really broadened my knowledge about their culture as well as some very basic stuffs which I didn't know. Wanted to post some pictures but their wireless are just too slow. Not being able to access facebook was a pain in the ass as well. I met this korean girl and I had a surprised conversation.
Me: So which part of Korea were you from?
Her: South Korea of course! *ended with a very high pitched*
Me: Why of course?? What happened to the north ?
Her: Don't you know? They are communist! They can't go out from their country. They can't even come to the south.
Me: *stunned for a while* damn... that is just.. sad...
Her: Yea...
I don't know if its just me, but I really had no idea that they were trapped inside their country.
Its just a little hard to believe for me.
Anyway, went to my campus for the first time yesterday to finish up the last part of my admission - Course Approval. After lining up for ages, I finally met up with my course adviser, also.. the head of the music department. And I got lost like couple of times around campus, and the map was not very helpful in a sense. It was fun, but its just a little disappointing to see that there are very few asians here compared to Auckland.
My head's about to burst. Because all of a sudden, I need to stuff so many information and adapt so many things in such a short period of time. Everything is just so new and it all starts from scratch. Through some chat with people from Mexico, Germany, Korea, Japanese, Ireland, Australia, and some locals in this place. I see how different people can be, how different our perceptions are, and the way they look and handle things really taught me alot.
This German friend here even gave me some culinary lessons, teaching me how to cook. Yea... Christopher is actually cooking... and its not instant noodle or frozen food. *proud*
That's about it for now, I'm just really exhausted. I'm a guy who likes my things well planned. I don't like bad surprises or last minute thingys. I've been walking alot as well, always.... cuz parking over here costs like $2-3 per hour. That's like freaking RM8 for an hour. But it seemed to make sense, it kinda worked out in a way like people won't park there all day and there's always slots for other vehicles. Unlike our country, because all we have to pay was like 50cents per hour? Most of us can afford and we'll just pay RM4 for the entire day if we have to.
Returning my rental car tomorrow as well. So from that on its all bus and alot alot of walking.
The shortest route to downtown and to my campus is to walk through some very deserted and creepy looking woods. =S
Will post more pictures when I can. Its just kinda impossible here for now.
P.S : still emoing so much.. every night when i have nothing to do... just having a cup of coffee outside at the corridor... i'm just so ****ed up with emotions... then i'll start thinking about shits... reminisce alot as well.. missing the good old days... and just.. think about the pasts alot.
